Code monitoring and reporting helps ensure commercial interests do not undermine the health and nutrition of infants and young children.
During 2005, IFANZ monitored New Zealand's compliance with the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes and the New Zealand Infant Formula Marketers' Association Code of Practice. Many violations were found!
These were presented in the brochure pictured, "Look What They're Doing! Monitoring Code Compliance in New Zealand 2005".
